Mkambati Palm Lodge has been built from natural materials the majority of which come from the surrounds. The main public area has been converted from what was the original Doctors house. Whilst converting this area our architects and designers ensured every care was taken to preserve restore and adhere to original era concepts. Our designers and architects have ensured this lodge to be a truly unique experience.
Dining takes place either on one of our unique settings, or on the veranda or outside on the lawn beneath the Mkambati Palms.
Enjoy viewing the stars outside whilst sitting around the fire listening to the local folk lore.
A large infinity pool ensures an uninterrupted view of the magnificent coastline and Mkambati Island.
Each room has its own private indigenous garden, plunge pool, outside sala and dining area. The rooms offer spectacular views of the Msikaba Bay and Mkambati Island where several ships have in the past met their misfortune. The bedroom interiors are large and spacious with their own seating area as well as fireplace, the spacious bathrooms are indeed for two with a large two person bath, two person shower as as well as shower as well as outdoor shower.
